The panels for mounting the prints give the print the correct support for the exhibition.
The panels proposed by Love Gamut are of three types, with different textures and rigidity.
Simona
Simple, light and widely used are the “Simona” panels, sandwich panels with two PVC “skins” on the outside and the inside in extruded expanded polystyrene, available in two thicknesses: 10 mm and 19 mm.
The thicker the material, the greater the rigidity.
Extruded PVC
The pvc extruded panel is available in white and black, perfect for small fine art prints.
Available in 10 mm or 5 mm thicknesses; the 5 mm is actually too light and flexible for mounting without a stiff wood frame.
Aluminium Sandwich
Aluminium Sandwich 3mm panel is very thin and very rigid, suitable for all prints.
Available in 2 mm and 3 mm thicknesses, is sold online only in the 3 mm type.
